Oscar Jamison 64, was born November 22, 1950 to the late Ervin Lee and Isabella(Franklin)Jamison. He grew up in Lacey, Arkansas. He confessed a hope in christ at an early age at Promise Land Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and  a brother Linburg Franklin.

He was employed for many years in the timber industry. Oscar was affectionately known as "Hook."

He leaves to cherish his memories: One sister Mary Brock(Fred) of Fountain Hill, AR; Five nieces: Thelma Guy of Killeen, TX, Velma Brock and Ashley Jackson(William) both of Fountain Hill, AR, Loretta Dupree and Phillip Franklin both of Los Angeles , CA. Two nephews: Willie Brock of Fountain Hill and Charles Franklin of Los Angeles, CA. Three great-nieces, and a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 11:00 at the Westside Church of Christ in Fountain Hill, AR.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 11:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the Longview Cemetery in Longview, AR. under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
