Ollie Mae Baldwin Sylvester passed away quietly Friday, February 5, 2016 at her residence. Ms. Sylvester moved back to Crossett, AR 12 years ago where resided until her death. She was a former employee of Georgia Pacific Plywood Mill, a member of the First Baptist Church in Crossett, AR. and a graduate of the class of 1972. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lucille Ross Baldwin and one brother Robert "Dog" Baldwin. She loved to cook and feed people. 

She leaves to cherish her sweet memories: One Brother; Donald (Irma) Baldwin of Warren, AR. 1 uncle; Willie Ross of Texas; 3 nieces; Sonya (Bruce) Brown of Nashville, TN, Remona Baldwin and Robbie (Johnny) Stanley all of Hamburg, AR. One nephew; Ryan Baldwin, Sr. of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. 2 great nieces; Ravion Baldwin and Shekinah Brown. 4 great nephews; Ryan Baldwin, Jr.,  Rahmir Baldwin, Damien Baldwin, and Rodrick Baldwin. 2 God daughters; Trinity Foster and Renee Wade. 2 wonderful caregivers: Jack and Renee Crawford and a host of other loved ones, family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Crossett, AR with Rev. Curtis Jackson Sr. officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 7 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
