Thomas Dismuke

October 17, 1958 ~ April 9, 2017 (age 58) 58 Years Old


Brother Thomas Earl Dismuke was born October 17, 1958 to the late Green and Beatrice Martin Dismuke in Monroe, LA. On April 9, 2017 surrounded by his family and loved ones at the John R. Williamson Hospice Hospital he transitioned to his final resting place where he eternally united with his parents, two brothers: Ross Dismuke and Jerry “Sonny” Dismuke; four sisters:  Mary Dismuke, Willie Jean Singleton, Joyce Henderson and Allie Mae Miller. Thomas was an avid outdoorsman. He love to fish, garden, and a taker of anything he thought needed fixing. He was a former employee of Arkansas Develop Center for thirteen years, as a maintenance man.
He accepted Christ at a tender age where he united with Fellowship Baptist Church and later with Mt Zion #2 Missionary Baptist Church in Urbana, AR. 
On October 24, 1984 Thomas was united in Holy Matrimony to Lesia Wallace-Dismuke and to this union three children was born.
He Leaves To Cherish His Memories
His wife of thirty-two years: Lesia Wallace-Dismuke of Strong, AR; Three children: Shameka (Kenji) Montgomery of El Dorado, AR Jaquetta (Henry) Jones of Enid, OK, and Pierre Dismuke of Strong, AR; Five grandchildren Jamal, Hannah, Gabby, Hailey, and K.J.; Six brothers: James Dismuke, Rev. Joe (Phyllis) Watson and Johnny Ray (Evelyn) Dismuke all of Spearsville, LA, Sylvester (Sharlion) Dismuke and Troy Lee Dismuke both of El Dorado, AR and Mark (Sara) Dismuke of Richmond, VA; Two sister: Bertha (Earvin) Heard of Spearsville, LA and Bertha Bonnett of Strong, AR; Two sister-in-laws: Rhonda Wallace Dade of El Dorado, AR and Mary Dismuke of Spearsville, LA; Mother-in-law: Helen Wallace of Urbana, AR. Special aunt: Glenda Penister of Arlington, TX. He will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

. Funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday April 15, 2017 at the Mt. Zion #2 Missionary Baptist Church in Urbana, AR. Visitation will be From 9:00 until service time at the church.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Urbana, AR under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
