Shalonda Yornell Binns was born on January 13, 1979 to Linda Binns and Dennis Lambert in Monticello, Arkansas. She departed this life and went with Lord on January 10, 2016.

            Shalonda attended Monticello High School and was currently enrolled at the South Arkansas Community College where she was majoring in nursing. She was employed at the Hampton Inn.  Shalonda confessed her love for Christ and baptized at Church of Christ.  

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother: Gladys Binns, her paternal grandparents: Perry Lambert and Minnie Jackson, a special aunt: Karen Binns and a special uncle Terry Binns, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Two daughters: A’Riana Evonne Sanders and Layla Nicole Walker, both of Monticello, AR; Her parents:  Linda(David) Shepard of Monticello, AR and Dennis Lambert of Portland, OR.; Seven sisters: Mya Shepard of Monticello, AR, Rhonda(Curtis)Reel of Little Rock, AR.  Roswena “Rose” Shepard of Red Oak, TX. Monei Lambert, Dennishea Lambert, Dannishia Lambert, and Trinet Lambert all of Portland, OR, Nine brothers: Ryan Shepard and Christopher“Chris”Shepard of Monticello, AR., Deon Dorsey of Dumas, AR. Dennis Lambert, Jr., Jamal Lambert, Christopher Lambert, Jarrell Lambert, Jacobi Lambert, and Broddy Lambert of Portland, OR.; maternal grandfather: Terry Binns, Sr. A special friend, Markeia “Master” Jamison and a host of relatives and friends

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 2:00 p. m. at the Kennedy Blvd Church of Christ in Monticello, AR.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant A.M.E. Church Cemetery (Campground Community) in Monticello, AR.  Arrangements are under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
