Nellie Ann King-White was born March 15, 1961 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Samuel and Nettie Ruth King, she was the first of six siblings.

Nellie accepted the Lord as her personal savior at an early age, where she united with Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a God-fearing woman who lived for the Lord and loved her family.  She was known for her fashion and passion for heels.  She was known as the “gangsta Nana.” She was known for her beautiful singing voice and her favorite solo “If I had Wings.”

She was employed by Medical Center of South Arkansas until her health began to deteriorate. 

She was united in marriage to Ronnie White.  To this union two children were born, Marcus Wayne, and Crystal Diane. She was preceded her in death by her sister Maria A King-Morton.

Nellie’s memories will be cherished by her children: Marcus (Andre’a), Crystal (Mario) both of El Dorado. She had six grandchildren: Marques, Da’marous, Jordyn, JaMiya, JaNiya, and Jaydyn.  She had two special God-children Marcus and ZaKiya Miller. Her parents; one brother Samuel King Jr. of Lawson, Arkansas; three sisters, Norma Jean (Jimmy) Aaron of Union, Arkansas, Connie King and Joyce (Tom) Lovett both of El Dorado. She had a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 A.M, Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Mt. Zion Church in Urbana, AR. 
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M until 3:00P.M, Friday, March 17, 2017 at the chapel Mitchell Memorial and from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the church.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Urbana, AR under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR
