On Friday, July 10, 2015, Joe Jackson, Jr. heard the voice of Jesus say, “Come to me all ye that labour and I will give you rest.” Mr. Joe Lee Jackson, Jr. answered the call and went home to be with his Heavenly Father.

      Joe Lee Jackson, Jr. was born to the proud parents of Mrs. Irma Thurman-McChord and the late Joe Lee Jackson, Sr. on March 15, 1956 in Wilmar, AR.

     He accepted Christ at an early age. He immediately joined the work force as a tractor driver at 14 years old in Wilmar, AR and he retired as a Casino Porter for Monte Carlo in Las Vegas, NV.

       On July 14, 1995, Mr. Jackson was united in holy matrimony to Lenda Fay Charles and to this union (2) children was born, Joe Lee Jackson, III and Felicia Faye Jackson.  Kevin(6) step-children: Kevin Gipson, Sr., Nehemiah Gipson,III(Telishia), Lakisha Charles(Benard), TishiaaMaddox(Marcus), James Charles(Jasmine), and Andrika Charles all of Las Vegas, NV. His mother Irma Thurman, (2) sisters, Sharon Jackson of Los Angeles, CA and Darlene Tate of Crossett, AR. (6) brothers, Marvin Thurman of Hamburg, AR.,  Jesse Tate (Linda & Jackie), Jimmy Tate(Evelyn), Ricky Tate, Undra, and Jeffery Tate(LaJetta) all of Crossett, AR. (23) grand-children, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
