Sis Emma Lee Caver 80, of Marion, La. departed this life on Friday, February 27, 2015 in Farmerville, La. 

         Sis Emma Lee Caver, the third child of the late Adell Montgomery and the late Lucile Loyd-Montgomery was born October 19, 1935 in Marion, Louisiana.  She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Louis Caver, her parents, one sister (deceased baby), and her brother Isaiah Montgomery. 

       Sis Emma united with the Mount Union Missionary Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Rev L. H. Highshaw.  At the time of her death she was under the leadership of Rev Willie D. Simmons.

        Sister Emma started school at Centerline, later attended Marion Industrial High.  She also attended Adult School at Eastside High School in Farmerville, Louisiana.

       Sister Emma was employed by Todd Uniform (Junction City, AR), Dean Meat Market (Bernice, LA), C&L Apparel (Bernice, LA), ConAgra (El Dorado, AR), and Marion Nursing Home (Marion, LA).

        Sister Emma leave to cherish her memories: Two daughters Betty Marie Caver and Karen Jeannette Washington (Morocco) of Marion, LA; Two son Calvin Jerome Caver, and James Christopher Caver (Wanda) of Marion, Louisiana, one sister: Johnnie Mae Montgomery-Nelson of Marion, LA, thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

   Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015, at 11:00, at the Mount Union Baptist Church of Marion, LA.  Active pallbearers are Johnell Bradshaw, Tremaine Fields, Kevin Potter, and Antarious Davis. Burial will follow in the Marion Baptist Church Cemetery in Marion, LA under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
