Charlie Mitchell 70, of Las Vegas, Nevada was born on February 24, 1946 to the late Laura Mitchell and Leroy Johnson in Lake Providence, LA.  He departed this life Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. Charlie Mitchell was one of ten children. Charlie enjoyed carpentry, painting, and doing yard work as his hobbies. Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by his mother; Laura Mitchell, his father; Leroy Johnson, four sisters; Emily Blood, Nazaree B. Webb, Mildred Spivey, and Juanita Austin, three brothers Dennis Blood, Otis Mitchell, and Frank Mitchell.

Charlie Mitchell leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter; Cynthia (Jack) Henderson of Monroe, LA, and one son; Bryant (Angelet) Mitchell of Farmerville, LA. One sister, Leola Fuller, Las Vegas, NV, and one brother, Willie (Ann) Blood of Las Vegas, NV. Two grandchildren Alicia Henderson and Bryant Mitchell, Jr. Also he leaves a host of nieces, nephew, and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Monroe, LA.at 2:00 p.m.. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 at the Mausoleum. Burial will follow in the Muhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
