Annita Ruth Gulley was born on Feb 2, 1948 to the late Curtis Gulley and Elossie Williams Gulley in Spearsville, LA. She departed this life on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the Northern Louisiana Medical Center in Ruston, LA. 

          She met and married James C. Dismuke on August 5, 1966 and to this union three children were born. She accepted Christ at an early age at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where she remained until death.

          She was preceded in death by one sister; Ora Dell Braggs and one brother; Michael Steven Gulley.

 Annita leaves to cherish her memories: Her husband: James C. Dismuke; Two daughters: Angelet (Bryant) Mitchell and Lisa Dismuke; One son: Eric (Valarie) Dismuke; Four sisters: Jeraldine Jones, Jannie Purifoy, Elossie Purifoy and Tammy Gulley; Six brothers: Bobby (Barbara) Gulley, Curtis Gulley, Jerome Gulley, James (Sha’wakanee) Gulley, Dennis Singleton and Raymond Singleton.  Nine grandchildren: ShaQuana (Ryne) Brown, Jasmine Dismuke, Haley Dismuke, Eriq-Dominick Dismuke, Tatianna Dismuke, Dante Dismuke,  Zavier Moody, Bryant Mitchell, Jr., and Justin Dismuke. One great- grandchild: Ryne Brown II. Sister-in-laws: Bertha Bonet, Bertha (Earvin) Heard, and Mary Dismuke; Brother-in-laws: Chester Braggs, Sr., Sylvester (Sharon) Dismuke, Johnny (Evelyn) Dismuke, Thomas (Lesia) Dismuke, Troy Dismuke, and Mark Dismuke. 5 Aunts: Marjorie Williams, Gertrude Gulley, Mamie Williams, Trudell Mixon and Lois May; Four Godchildren: Michelle Hill-Ross, Lori Hill-Johnson, Antonio Dismuke and Marquez Jones.  

Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Spearsville, LA. Visitation will be from 10 until service time at the church. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
