Will Starks, Jr. was born in Crossett, Arkansas on April 12, 1947 to Will Starks, Sr. and Lillie Alexander Starks. Will was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Charles and Earlee Simpson.
As a child, Will united with Allison Chapel (later named Allen Temple) Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Crossett. Will Stark, Jr. attended Thomas William Daniels Elementary and High School in Crossett, Arkansas. Though he was not an official team member, Will loved to play football and was issued a football uniform. On many days, you could find teenage Will on the playground throwing and catching the football all alone.
As an adult, Mr. Stark was employed by the Ashley County Sheltered Workshop in Crossett. He loved wearing cowboy boots and a 10 gallon cowboy hat. Will loved hanging out with his friends and riding his bicycle.
On, February 11, 2022, God called the soul of Mr. Will Stark to rest. Left to cherish his memory: His legal guardian/cousin, Patricia Jacob Todd of Crossett, Arkansas and her children, Cottra Miles, Willie Smith, Jr., and Jacob Smith; cousin- John I. Harris of Dallas, Texas and other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM, on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at the Westview Cemetery.
Burial will follow in the Westveiw Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
