Waymon Pearson of Huttig, AR was born June 29, 1937, in Monroe, La to the late Frances Shelbon Amos and the late Frank Boyette.
He attended school in Marion, La, after completing his education, he was employed with the Huttig Sawmill until his health begins to fail.
At an early age, he was a member of the Church of Christ under the leadership of Elder Fudge Smedley and later he became a member of First Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. W. T. Ward.
He was united in Holy Matrimony in 1964 to the late Clarice Smith. He later married the late Dorothy Jean Presley. He was also preceded by two brothers Roy and Charles Boyette; two children Clifton Smith and Cassandra Jordan. On July 27, 2025, God saw fit to call Waymon to his eternal home.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his daughter Patsy Roach (Desi); Stepdaughters Felecia Cooks and Sandra Thomas (Cleveland) of Little Rock, AR; 4 special granddaughters Krystal(Scotty) Billings, Jouney Billings, Ke' Dasha Jenkins and Monique (Rodney) Tubbs; 3 grandsons Andre and Korey Jordan and Justin Henry; One sister, Cresia Ross and one brother Sammy Lee Boyette both of Marion, LA; along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday August 9. 2025 at the First Baptist Church in Huttig, AR
Burial will follow in the Huttig Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
