Veronica Patric (Watson) Edwards

Veronica Edwards of Hot Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Crossett, departed this life on July 3, 2020, at her residence in Hot Springs.

She was born in Crossett, Arkansas on July 11, 1969, to her parents Edward Watson, and Marzell Wade-Watson. 

Veronica was a loving mother who encompassed a strong work ethic.
She loved reading gothic novels, cooking, live comedy shows, and spending time with her children. She was a faithful member of New Life Christian Church in Malvern, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Deunta Blakemore.

She is survived by her husband Sherwood Edwards; two children, Kymyara Hill, and Justen Blakemore of Hot Springs, AR; two uncles, Ronald Watson (Lois) of Crossett, AR, and Jerry Wade of Hamburg, AR;
one brother Greg Watson (Angela) of Houston TX; three sisters, Miranda Smedley, and Marcia Kidd (Gordon) of Crossett AR; La Joyce James of Shreveport, LA; one grandchild, Peyton Blakemore, and a special family member Crystal Tapia of Hot Springs, AR. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends will cherish her memory. 

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 18, 2020, at the Westview Cemetery in Crossett, AR.

Visitation will be held from 11 until 7 on at the chapel under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR
