Steven Oda Letbetter

Steven Oda Letbetter was born to Oria Mae Taylor and Johnny Lee Letbetter on June 26, 1965. His early education was at Carthage Public School. He moved to Las Vegas, NV and attended Valley School. He moved back home and attended Carthage Public School then went on to join the United States Army a few years later.

Steven was preceded in death by both parents Johnny Lee Letbetter and Oria Mae Hoye; stepfather Elliot (Buddy) Hoye; His grandparents, Hollie and Dorothy Taylor, Moses and Willie Dee Letbetter. He also was preceded in death by three brothers: Darryl Letbetter, Thomas Taylor and McKenzie Taylor, Uncles WL Letbetter Tommy Taylor, and GD Letbetter.

He leaves to cherish his memories: stepmother Stella Weathers of Fordyce, AR; His sisters: Sherrie (Randy) Thomas of Richmond Hill, TX, Brenatte Letbetter (Ted) Bridges of Pine Bluff, AR, Jessica Thrower of Fordyce, AR, Stacie Gibbs- Letbetter of Whitehall, AR, Tamara Letbetter of Fordyce, AR, and Kandra Jones of Fort Worth, TX; one uncle: Oda Taylor of Carthage, AR; Two special Aunts: Charlotte Hatten of Delhi, La and Mary Jones(His caregiver) Bearden, AR; He also leaves a host of nieces,
nephews cousins, many family members, and friends

Funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock Sunday, September 15, 2024 at the Lea’s Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Farindale, Arkansas.

Burial will follow in the Hampton Spring Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, Arkansas.
