Shalitha Marques Waters

.Shalitha Marques Waters was born on December 10, 1991, to Darrell Moore and Lashanda Waters in Crossett, AR. Shalitha was a member of Epistles of God Church of Deliverance under the
leadership of Pastors Ryan and Mona McBride. She confessed Christ at an early age where her pastor was the late Dr. Mary Arnold. She was involved in praise dancing and the drill team, and she was very passionate about it. She was a 2011 graduate of Crossett High School. Afterward, she continued her education at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
Shalitha believed in working. She began working in high school and continued her work ethic until her final time on this earth. Her jobs included Andys, McDonalds and her last job was with Walmart where she worked 7 years and 6 months in Crossett and 1 year in Eldorado. She was such a worker, and she did it all to provide the very best for her two beautiful girls who
was her whole world.She was a very energetic lady. She had the personality to change the atmosphere when she walked in any room. Her laughs, her goofy ways and especially her
smiles were always noticed. “The life of the party” Everyone would say because of her bubbly spirit. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Bobby Waters and Donna Woodberry & James and Bernice Smith; her paternal grandfather: Robert Lee Cooper. She will leave her smile behind to her two girls Harmoni Waters and Haylei Waters of Crossett, AR; Her parents: Darrell Moore (Felicia ) of Little Rock, AR and Lashanda Waters of Crossett, AR; three brothers: Jahmar Durby, Jaden Lewis and Datren Ward; two sisters: Jernitha Moore and Tyneva Moore; Grandparents: Benice Clement(Stuart) and Jeffery Woodberry, a special uncle Gregory Smith and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at the Crossett City Auditorium in Crossett, AR.

Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR
