Robert ("Big Daddy") Miller, Jr

Robert (Big Daddy) Miller Jr was born August 7, 1949, to the late  Away Miller and Junior Miller. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Miller on November 13, 2000. He departed his earthly home on October 20, 2023, at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by both parents Away & Junior Miller, two brothers-Robert Lee Miller and Melvin Miller and a sister Rosie Mae Foster.

Robert spent most of his life working and enjoying life. He worked as a Saw Operator at Georgia Pacific Plywood of Crossett from 1969 until his retirement in 2010. Robert spent his retirement doing things he enjoyed such as playing cards and dominoes, riding and listening to music, and talking on the phone with his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Elizabeth Miller, son Robert Charles Miller (Rocita), son Glen Armstead, Daughters Liporchia Childs (Darren), Lakeshia Parker, and Monica Armstead of Crossett, Arkansas. Daughter Shuneka Udom (Desmond) of Houston, Texas, son Teddy Mooney (Malinda) of Wilmot, son Arlander Parker of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Three sisters: Villie Gray of Junction City, LA, Shirley Miller of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Patricia Miller of Parkdale, Arkansas. Seven Brothers: Willie Miller (Charita) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, James L. Miller (Felisha) of Parkdale, Arkansas, James Earl Miller (Marcie) of Memphis, Tennessee, Willie E. Miller (Jackie), Leroy Miller all of Florida, Jerry Miller of Portland, Oregon and Jamal Miller of Atlanta, Georgia. He also leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the Faith Center Church in Crossett, AR.

Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 7 PM on Friday, October 27, 2023, at the chapel of Mitchell Memorial.

Burial will follow in the Childress Cemetery in Parkdale, AR under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
