Rickey Dewayne Johnson was born on February 25, 1958, to Bessie Mae and James Johnson in Crossett, AR. He was a resident of Crossett for many years before relocating to Minneapolis, MN.

On May 12, 2021, at his residence in Minneapolis, Rickey departed his earthly life for his eternal life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bessie Mae and James Johnson; one sister: Lajetta Johnson and one brother: Tony Johnson

He leaves to cherish his memories; 5 daughters: Tamica Johnson, Tisha Scott, Tyronda Davis, Rickiyaa Harris-McDade, Angel Johnson; 1 son: Adrian Johnson; 3 sisters: Avery Jane Brown,  Sylvia McDaniel, and Jewel Molette; 4 brothers: Sam Green, James Johnson, Michael Taylor, and Ryan Baldwin; 17 grandchildren, a long-time friend; Jan Little, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends

Memorial service will be held on Saturday July 3, 2021 at 12:00 PM at the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
