Richard Lee Montgomery, Sr. was born on May 20, 1971 to the late Pastor Eddie “Mookie” Williams and Patricia Williams in Shreveport, LA. On April 27, 2017 Richard left his earthly home for his heavenly home.

Richard met the love of his life Tenacka Goodwin-Montgomery in 2000 and in 2009 he married her and they became one. 

Richard attended Crossett High School. He was employed at the Crossett Housing Authority from 2001 until he gained his wings.

 Richard loved to hunt and to walk their family dog Jax. He was friendly and well known in the community. He would wave to people as he walked through neighborhood. Richard attended Kingdom Builders Outreach Ministries Church under the leadership of Elder Fields.

 He was preceded in death by his father: Pastor Eddie Williams, two brothers: Fredrick and Charles Montgomery and his grandparents: Charlie and Manavia Williams.

His wife: Tenacka Montgomery of Crossett, AR; Two sons: Richard Montgomery, Jr. and Kyree Moses both of Crossett, AR; One daughter: Nikia Goodwin of Crossett, AR; His mother: Patricia Williams of Crossett, AR; One sister: Jaqueline(Marcus)Caldwell of Crossett, AR; One brother: Derrick(Jirah)Williams of Crossett, AR; Grandmother: Pauline Radford of Crossett, AR; Mother-in-law: Loretta Goodwin of Crossett, AR; Father-in-law: Larry(Satina)Goodwin of Crossett, AR; Four sister-in-laws: Sherring Goodwin of Columbus, MS, Jeanetta Jackson and La’Toya(Edward) Bethea of Crossett, AR and LaKelsei Staffney of Monroe, LA; Aunts: Brenda(Willie)Jones and Ann Radford both of Crossett, AR. His Puppy Jax Montgomery.

 Funeral service will be at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.

Visitation will be Friday, May 5, 2017 at the chapel of Mitchell Memorial from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 a.m.

 Burial will follow in the Ryles Chapel Cemetery in Whites, AR under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
