Mary Lee Montgomery

Mary Montgomery was born on May 4, 1962 in Parkdale AR to Ada Rhodes and Johnny Hicks. She departed this earth oh October 5, 2022 and Little Rock.

Mary gave her life to Christ at an early age and has been in church most of her adult life. Mary was loved by so many family and friends and even some strangers. To know her was to love her she was known to tell it like it was and express herself freely. Sometimes she may have acted stubborn as a bull, but her
heart was made of pure gold. She was so resilient, nothing that she went through would keep her down. She was such a fighter, all the way until very end. She will be remember as a mother, wife, sister, family and friend. Looking down from heaven, she would not want any of her love one sad and crying but she would want you to smile and be joyous. She is not in any pain and suffering any longer, she is at rest and will walk with us each day of our lives
She leaves to cherish her memories: Four children: Nikita Drew, 

Dexter Hicks, Jarvis Hicks, and Herman Davidson; Nine brothers and sisters: Ethel Jones, Lenia Mae Payne, Willie Jones, Melva Rhodes, Eddie Jones, Dan Smith, Jessie Packer and John Hicks and a host of other family members and friends

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at the Union Baptist Church in Parkdale, AR.

Burial will follow in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
