Lloyd Henry Williams who was affectionately known as “Duck” was born in Wilmot, AR, on October 15, 1942 to the late Annie Custer and Richard Harris, Jr. He was preceded in death by one sister; Joyce Polk and one brother Stephen Wright.
As a child Duck attended and graduated from Slacke-LeGrand School and Technical College where he pursued his career as a Millwright. He was a Boy Scout Leader for Troop 106 from the Wilmot community and surrounding areas for many years.
He established his career with Georgia Pacific Plywood, from which he retired after 42 years of service. He accepted Christ at a young age and became a member of John Wesley AME Church of Wilmot, AR. Duck loved to travel, fish, play dominoes, family gatherings and watching sport.
He leaves behind to cherish his dedicated loving wife of 38 years to Dematria Williams; 4 sons: Lloyd (Sherdina) Williams of Eudora, AR, Clinton (Callie) Williams of Crossett, AR, Lloyd Williams, Jr. of Kansas City, MO, and Willie (Wanda) Miller, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; 6 daughters: Tammi (Dewone) Hollins, and Kimberly Williams both of Crossett, AR, Vicki (Wendell) Williams of Kansas City, MO Felicia (Johnny) of Fayetteville, AR, Marty (Glen) Green of Little Rock, AR and Charlotte Cornice of Little Rock, AR. 3 brothers: Carl (Lavern) Williams, Steven Tyrone “Dexter” (Maxine) Rogers, of Bastrop, LA, and John Williams And a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at the Westview Cemetery in Crossett, AR.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021, from 1:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the chapel under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
