Kerry Palmer of El Dorado, AR departed this life on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the Life Touch Hospice in El Dorado, AR.
Kerry S. Howell Palmer was born on December 19, 1945 to the late Clay Henry Howell and Media Phifer Howell in Strong, Arkansas.
She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age while at Ward Chapel Church. She rededicated her life back to Christ. Kerry worked many years at Lion Oil. After Lion Oil, she worked at Kroger, County Market, and Smitty’s Grocery in the deli. She worked at MCSA as a file clerk until she retired.
She was married to Floyd J. Palmer and to this union one child was born (Veronica S. Palmer).
She was preceded in death by her sisters: Mae Ella Davis and Lue Ella Benton, and by her brothers: TG Howell, LG Howell, Alex Earl Howell, Sammy Howell, Henry Richard Howell and Clay Henry Howell, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter: Veronica Curley (Ernest) of El Dorado, Arkansas; one grandson: Bruce J.T. Jernigan, II of El Dorado, Arkansas; two sisters: Rose Mary Daniels of Crossett, Arkansas and Hazel Mae Howell of El Dorado, Arkansas, and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at the Beulah Grove Baptist Church in El dorado, Arkansas.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022, from 1:00PM - 2:00PM at the church.
Burial will follow in the Ward Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
