Kaishia Dawanna ("Peaches") Thompson

Kaishia "Peaches" Thompson, 40 of Monticello, AR was born to Darlene Downs and Jessie Owen Simpson on December 10, 1981, in Monticello, AR. She departed this life on May 28, 2022, in Little Rock, AR. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents:Hershey and Easter Mae Thompson: paternal grandparents: Roosevelt and Flossy Simpson; and one nephew Travon Thompson.

Kaishia was a resident of Hamburg, AR until she relocated to Monticello with her three children. She was currently employed at Wal-Mart Supercenter in Monticello, AR. She gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a member at Emmanuel Temple COGIC in Hamburg, AR. Kaishia Thompson more affectionately known as Peaches, was always the life of the party making sure everyone laughed and had a great time. Peaches enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially her granddaughter Alayah. 

Kaishia leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter: Tyshunda Burnett, two sons: Tyquarrius Miller and Tymarvis Miller, and the love of her life: her granddaughter:  Alayah Robinson all of Monticello, AR; Her parents: Jessie Owen Simpson and Darlene Downs, three brothers: Lance Thompson, Timmy Downs, Jr., and Josh Downs all of Hamburg, AR; two sisters: Shakeithia Simpson of Hamburg, AR and LaTurjia Thompson of Crossett, AR and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other families, and friends. 

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Emmanuel Temple COGIC in Hamburg, AR.

Visitation will be held from 11 until 7 on Friday, June 3, 2022, at the chapel.

Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Cemetery in Hamburg, AR under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
