Julius McDaniels Obituary

Julius Terez McDaniels was born into this life on January 19, 1986 in Crossett, Arkansas to Cynthia Hodges and Bobby Joe McDaniels.
He was a member of Epistles of God Church of Deliverance in Hamburg, Arkansas where he served actively in the youth department and played the drums. Julius attended Crossett High School where he excelled in baseball and football. He was one of the best linebackers that came through Crossett High School. He was a graduate of Ouachita Job Corps with a certificate in welding.

He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and he enjoyed fishing and riding horses. Julius had an affectionate smile and a giving heart. He was always caring and polite. He was known for his puppy dog eyes with those long eyelashes. His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.

He Leaves to cherish his memory: one son, his pride and joy JuMar-ion McDaniels of Crossett, AR; his mother, Cynthia Hodges of Monticello, AR; his father, Bobby Joe (Shronda) McDaniels of Spring, TX; maternal grandparents, Georgetta Waters and A.D. Govan of Crossett, AR; paternal grandparents, Earl and Edna Hardaway of Crossett, AR, Eliza-beth Wyatt of Hope, AR; one brother, Spencer Govan of Crossett, AR; four sisters, Ashley McDaniels of DeSoto, TX, Shanae Govan of Crossett, AR, Kyelah of West Lafayette, IN and Kaylon Hodges of Houston, TX; five aunts, Lynnetta Waters of Sterlington, LA, Stephanie Wyatt and Natalie Cotton of Toledo, OH, Clarissa Wyatt of Hope, AR; seven uncles, Reginald Peyton of El Dorado, AR, Reggie (Eva) Govan, Roderic Randolph, Craig McDaniel of Los Angeles, CA, Joseph McDaniel of Memphis, TN, Aaron (Love) Govan of Jacksonville, AR, Garrett McDaniel of Terre Haute, IN; two nieces, Brooklyn McDaniels, Jenasey Reed and one nephew, Ashton Govan. He also leaves a host of great aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that all adored him

Graveside service will be on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 1:00 PM at the Westview Cemetery.

A book signing will be Friday, July 17, 2020, from 11 until 7 at the chapel under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
