Jeannetta Latrece Goodwin was born on August 9, 1982, in Lake Village AR to the parents of Loretta Goodwin and Larry Goodwin. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, sister, and friend. She was a very loving person. She loved her family and loved being with them. She loved music, concerts, laughing, and making memories with her family. Jeannetta graduated from Crossett High School and afterward she obtained her license in cosmetology. She later continued her education where she obtained her LPN from South Arkansas Community College and a bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Arkansas at Monticello. She was preceded in death by her husband: Colby Jackson, one brother: LaShun Goodwin, one brother in law: Richard Montgomery Sr., and her paternal grandfather: Roosvelt Goodwin Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters: Jeannisha Wright and Niya Jackson; one granddaughter: Aria Wright; her parents: Loretta Goodwin and Larry (Sataina) Goodwin four sisters: Tenacka Goodwin-Montgomery, Sherring Goodwin, LaKelsei Staffany, and Latoya (Edward) Bethea; her nieces and nephew Nikia Goodwin, Shalyn Smith, and Kyree Moses; her Paternal grandmother: Willie Mae Goodwin, her Maternal grandparents: Annie P Williams and David Mansfield, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends
Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Westview Cemetery.
Viewing will be held from 11 to 7 on Friday. June 25, 2021 at the chapel of Mitchell Memorial.
Burial will follow in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
