Genvia Login of Pontiac, MI, formerly of Crossett, AR was born on November 9, 1947, to the late Sammie Logan and Erma Mae Williams-Logan in the White Station community. She departed this life on February 14, 2020, at the McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, MI. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Vicky Minniweather and two brothers: Eddie Gene Logan and Eddie Jr. Logan and one sister: Mae Ella Logan.
At an early age, Genvia united with Fudge Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Jesse L. Radford, Sr. and she loved singing in the choir. Genvia was a very humble person, who had a deep love for God and her family.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Three sons: Ricky Minniweather of Crossett, Sammie Lee Minniweather (Francis) of Dallas, TX, Rufus Minniweather, Jr.,(Karen) of Dallas, TX, one daughter: Mary Ann Merriweather-Grays of Pontiac, MI; one brother Earnest (Katie) Logan of Pine Hill, AR, One sister: Mary Ella Todd=Withers of Crossett, AR, two uncles: Leroy (Elvira) Williams of New Orleans, LA and James (Vernice) Williams of Whites Station, AR, one aunt: Theolia Williams-Tucker of Crossett, AR and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM, on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at the Fudge Baptist Church in Crossett, AR
Visitation will be held from 11 until 7 Friday, March 13, 2020, at the chapel.
Burial will follow in the Ryles Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
