Funtella Denise Davis

Funtella Denise Paskel-Davis was born on June 12, 1967, to L.V. Paskel, Sr. and Carolyn Paskel in Crossett, AR. She was the second oldest of four children.

Funtella met the love of her life, Timothy Davis, on January 13, 2000, and before the Lord, the two became one.

“La Diva” as she was affectionately known by friends and family was a very loving person, and she was loved by many.  She was definitely the life of the party “ALL EYES ON ME”. She loved cooking and just enjoying life with family and friends.

On April 9, 2021, she answered her call to the Lord in Pine Bluff, AR at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by One son: Quinton Paskel and her father L.V. Paskel, Sr.

She leaves her to cherish her memories: her husband of 21 years Timothy Davis of Crossett, AR; three children: Lakisha Paskel-Scott(Quinton) , Quinshawnda  Paskel, and Christopher Bailey all of Crossett, AR, her mother: Carolyn Paskel of Crossett, AR; one brother: L.V. Paskel, Jr.(LaQicia) of Crossett, AR and two sisters: Tunna Paskel and Carolyn Paskel both of Crossett, AR. One step-daughter: McKenzi Davis and one god-daughter: Tamara Taylor; 4 grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at the Living Testament Church in West Crossett, AR.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021, from 11 until 7 at the chapel.

Burial will follow in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
