Eudelia “Terri” Zapata, 76, passed away on April 19, 2023 at her home in Crossett, AR. She was born on February 12, 1947 in Monterrey Mexico to Eugenia Serrato Facundo.
Eudelia “Terri” grew up in Rockdale, TX, moved frequently because of her husband’s occupation, moved to Batesville, AR and eventually Crossett, AR became her home.
Eudelia “Terri” married Nicasio “Nick” Zapata in August of 1964 in Rockdale, TX. They were happily married for 58 years.She attended Davis Memorial Church and Holy Cross Catholic Church. She loved cooking and spending time with her family, being a part of her church family, and enjoyed her bowling family, bowling being her favorite hobby.
Eudelia “Terri” was preceded in death by her mother: Eugenia Serrato Facundo, her daughter: Sarah Irene Zapata and other beloved family members.
Eudelia “Terri” is survived by her spouse Nicasio “Nick” Reyes Zapata of Crossett, AR; her daughter: Laura Ann Zapata of Crossett, AR; her son: Nicasio “Nick Jr.” Zapata Jr. of Crossett, AR; and her son/Godson: Rene Munoz of Crossett, AR as well as many, many more family members and relatives in Rockdale, TX.
Cremation arrangement will follow under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
