Ella Ruth Woods was born to Mildred and Paul Obie Dupree on February 13, 1960 in Thebes, AR. She departed this earthly life at the St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, AR on September 1, 2021. She confessed her life at an early age and later joined St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church in Montrose. AR. Ella was a homemaker, she enjoyed her family, playing softball, cooking fish, and playing space with her favorites. She was best known for being a very strong, supportive, loving, and caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.
Awaiting her precious and gracious homecoming are her parents: Mildred and Paul Obie Dupree, brother: Sonny Dupree, sister: Nora B Brown-Dupree, Father-in-law: William C Woods, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: husband of 34 year: Larry Woods, Sr. and her mother in law: Geneva Woods; two daughters: Britney Woods (Nathan) Simmons and Lakeisha Hargraves of Montrose, AR; five sons: Dextral (Linda) Woods Philadelphia PA, Kenyon (LaShiqua) Woods of High Springs, AR, Larry Woods, Jr. of Conway, AR, Landriel (Vanessa) Woods of Montrose, AR, and Michael Hargraves of Monticello, AR, Thirty-two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three brothers: Frankie Dupree and William C Woods, Jr of Lake Village, AR and Carlton Gillis of Montrose, A; eight sisters: Jean (Freddie) Clark Sacramento, CA, Dorothy (Lee Fred) Brown and Sharon Kaye Johnson of Crossett, AR, Emma Woods, Vernestine (Ray Lee) Holmes, Arletha (Phillip) Jordan, Joyce Woods and Vanessa Woods all of Montrose, AR and a host of nieces and nephews cousin and friend who will miss her dearly
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at the Montrose Cemetery.
Burial will follow in the Montrose Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
