Dexter D. Carr (Sambo) of Monticello, AR was born August 7, 1960 in Wilmar, AR to the late Mrs. Ollie B Thurman-Avery and Mr. Festus Lee Carr, Sr. Dexter departed from this life on Tuesday, March 21. 2023 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff AR.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Monticello, AR.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, from 6 to 7 at the church.
Burial will follow in the Wilmar Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
