David Lacal Martin

Lacal Martin was born April 9, 1959, to the late Finis and Jessie Bea Wimberly-Martin in Crossett, AR. He was a retired officer of the United States Marine Corps. 

On Friday, October 18, 2024, David passed away in his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Robbie Martin and brother, Finis Martin, Jr. David enjoyed watching TV, listening to music, reading, and riding his bicycle. He was well known in the West Crossett Community.

Left to cherish his memories are two brothers: Denny Martin, wife Tamatha of North Little Rock, AR and Bruce Martin of Crossett, AR; sisters, Shirley Norman, husband Rev. Carl of Cucamonga, CA, Carolyn Martin of Little Rock, AR, Mary Martin, Ethel Dean Canley, husband Donnie, and Janell Jordan, husband Walter
all of Crossett, AR, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other
relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Hunters Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Crossett, AR.
 
Visitation will be held from 1 PM until 5:00 PM on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the chapel of Mitchell Memorial.
 
Burial will follow in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR
