Daryl Lee Smith

Daryl Smith of Crossett, AR was born on July 18, 1965, to the  Cleo Smith and Bettye Smith in Crossett, AR 

Daryl attended Crossett High School and was a member of the high school band playing trombone. His expertise was in playing drums with the choir at Davis Memorial C.O.G.I.C where he attended all his life. He worked at the Crossett Plywood for many years and various other jobs until he retired. He would assist his mother faithfully in Prayer ministry and would help anyone in need.

Loving on his friends and sharing with his friends that " Nothing is impossible with God". Daryl would often be seen with his music to the roof, loving God and showing off his latest cross... If there was a mantle for endurance regardless of the number of obstacles that comes your way, Daryl's Mantle of Endurance would exceed them all. He fought till the end. Well done thou good and faithful servant.

 Preceded in death his father: Cleo Smith, brother: Cleo Demetrius Smith, sister: Linda Carol Kidd, nephew: Gordon Kidd, aunts: Ester Mae Gilbert and Ruby Level, uncles: Joseph Shine and Merrill Davis, cousins: Tina Toney and Roderick Washington 

Leaves to cherish his memories: his mother: Missionary Evangelist Bettye Smith, his sister: Dr. Constance Smith Fields; aunts: Barbara Davis and Missionary Faye Pam; nephew: Jacob O'ryan Bass; nieces: Chloe Smith and Constance Cameo Anderson; nephew: Latoris Woods; cousins: Rekandria Vatrice Leach, Jimmy Washington William Davidson, Charles Scales, and Pastor Leroy Swan; Monette Smith (Cleo D. Smith) and a host of great nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Davis Memorial C.O.G.I.C.

Burial will follow in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
