Cynthia Stanley- Thomas Obituary

Cynthia “Ann” Stanley-Thomas, 63, of Crossett, AR, entered the gates of Heaven on May 26,2022  and reunited with her beloved husband Ken W. Thomas. She was surrounded by her children at the time of her peaceful death in the comfort of her own home.

She was born June 27, 1958, in Dermott, AR to the late James W. Stanley and the late Minnie L. Moore. Cynthia graduated high school in 1976 from McGehee High School.

Cynthia had 2 children, Tomona Hagood of Little Rock, AR, and Brian Thomas Sr. of Little Rock; AR. Ann said her children were the greatest blessing in her life. Ann worked at Potlach in Warren, AR for 12 years. Ann and her family moved to Crossett, AR where she started working at Bemis Company. Ann retired from Bemis after working 13 years.  She is 2-time cancer survivor.

Ann’s grandchildren were the light of her life, and she was the best “Memaw” they could have ever asked for. She enjoyed cooking, gardening , sewing, spending time with family and friends, and of course…shopping. Ann always made sure she is looking good going out. She kept her nails done, hair done and was always stylish. She was our Diva. She had a wonderful sense of humor. She was a caregiver through and through for her family and friends.

Forever grateful for sharing her life include her children: Tomona Hagood of Little, AR;  Brian (Tabetha) Thomas Sr of Little Rock, AR; grandchildren Rosalind Smith of Little Rock, AR; Brian Thomas Junior of Little Rock, AR. Siblings Vanessa(Greg) Hubbard of Arkansas City, AR; Chanel Hooper of Warren, AR; Barbara(Joel) Nutall of Indianola, MS; Ella Moore of Inverness, MS; Dorothy(Orlando) Stinson-Williams of Titusville, Florida; Rufus Lee Moore of Arkansas City, AR; Rufus(Kisha) Rodriguez Moore of Little Rock, AR; Larry Ross of Fort worth, Texas; A special niece, Brandy Thomas of Crossett, AR; her precious boys(dogs) Bud L.
