Charles Lewis Obituary

Charles Edward (T.C) Lewis, 81, of Crossett departed Friday, December 31, 2021, at Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett. He was a native of Parkdale, a millwright for Jefferson Smurfit Corporation, and a member of Gates Chapel A. M. E. Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Lewis, mother, Ethel Law Lewis, father, Charles "Charlie" Lewis; four brothers, Jack Johnson and Leonard Lewis, and Clinton Lewis, J.B. Lewis; three sisters, Earnestine Johnson James, Rosie Lee Worthy and Willie Mae Hunt.

He is survived by one sister Effie May Lewis of Chicago IL; four daughters: Latonia Tatum (Felton), Carolyn Lewis of Crossett, AR and Lorraine Lewis-Wilson of San Antonio, TX, Luahn Willams (James) of Long Beach, CA; four sons, Charles and Anthony Lewis both of Crossett, AR, Billy Wilson(Connie), and Bobby Clark and a host of beloved grand and great-grandchildren

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday Jan 8, 2021 at the Gates Chapel A.M.E Church in Crossett, AR.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM on Friday, December 7, 2021 at the chapel of Mitchell Memorial.

Burial will follow in the Zion Hill Cemetery in Parkdale, AR under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.

Officiant, Rev. White; Pallbearers, Grandsons: Manuel Boston, Andre Hollins, Jaylon Tatum, Anthony Lewis, alongside family friends, Charles "Chuck" Brown, and Derrick Hammond.

EVERYONE IS REQUIRED TO WEAR FACE-COVERING. NO EXCEPTIONS.
