Betty Jean Shaw

Betty Shaw of Crossett, AR was born on December 28, 1960 to the late Winston Shaw and Goldie Haynes Shaw. She departed this life on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at the Stonegate Villa Health and Rehabilitation in Crossett, AR. Betty loved to watch television. Her favorite shows were Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Dora the Explorer.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Winston Shaw and Goldie Haynes Shaw; her foster mother: Viola Kilpatrick; two sisters: Brenda Shaw and Edith Shaw and one brother: Roger Shaw.

She leaves to cherish her memory: one sister: Rotene Shaw of Crossett, AR, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and loved ones. Special friend: Mrs. Vera Reed.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at 10:00 at the chapel of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service in Crossett, AR.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26, 2020, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. NO PUBLIC VIEWING FROM 2:00 PM UNTIL 3:00 PM. Visitation will resume at 3:00 PM  until 7:00 PM. at the chapel.

Burial will follow in the Phillip Grove Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
