Victor Bernard Mason was born the first child of the late Bishop Joe Baylor Mason and Laretta M. Mason on January 19, 1968 in Eldorado, AR.
He graduated from Crossett High School in 1986 and further his education at the University of Arkansas at Monticello and Career Technical College in Monroe, La where he received a certificate in Travel and Tourism.
He confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of Living Word Church of God in Christ.
Victor had a love for antique automobiles. He also loved music and served as a musician for the Northside COGIC, Living Word COGIC as well as other churches throughout Texarkana, Texas and Arkansas.
Victor was preceded in death by his father: Bishop Joe Mason; brother: Kenneth Mason; a son: Tre'Mayre Mason; paternal grandfather: Ollie Bell (O.B.) Mason; maternal grandparents: Supt. Paul C. And Mrs. V.L. Manning.
He leaves to cherishes memories: four sons: Qaelon Mason of Bastrop, LA, Tre'Vion Mason, Terrance Mason and T'Auvion Mason of Houston, TX ; his mother Missionary Laretta M. Mason of Crossett, AR; one sister Loretha (Tresa) Mason-Johnson of Crossett, AR; eight grandchildren of Houston, TX; Paternal grandmother: Mrs. Arcie B.Gentle of El Dorado, AR; one god-sister, Monique Cooper Hollingquest (Virgil) of Bastrop, LA and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends as well as his church family.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the Living Word COGIC in Crossett, AR.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the chapel.
Burial will follow in the Manning Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
