Spears Watson Obituary

Spears Andrew Watson was born May 18, 1960 to Lynn Watson Sr  and Geraldine Miller in Union County.

He was a 1979 graduate of El Dorado High School. He worked at Con Agra for over 10 years,  that's where he met the love of his life JoAnn.  He was a Die Hard Dallas Cowboys fan; win, lose, or draw. He loved his music, especially Jazz. You could hear him blocks away in his beloved 79' Yellow Heavy Chevy. He was a self proclaimed King of the Grill. You could always find him cooking, building, or fixing on something in his spare time. His pride and joy was his Granddaughter DeMyah.

On November 3, 1983 he united in Holy Matrimony to JoAnn McHenry. To this union two beautiful daughters were born. In his last days he held on tight to his faith in God and he departed from his tired body on Thursday, April 26, 2018.

Spears to some, Big Poppa to most, or simply the Guy in the Yellow truck; you knew who he was.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers George Henry Scott, Daryl Miller, and Lynn Watson Jr.

His legacy will live on through his Wife of 34 years: JoAnn Watson, El Dorado, Arkansas; Children: Shawndalyn "Mesha" Watson, Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Sharonna "D'Anne" Watson, Little Rock, Arkansas, Quincy (JaMekia) McHenry, El Dorado, Arkansas; Sisters: Lula Mae Williams, Bloomington, Illinois, Betty Williams Scott, Memphis, Tennessee, Jerlynn Watson, Bellwood, Illinois, Augusteen Watson, Memphis, Tennessee, and Jacqueline (Gilbert) Henry, El Dorado, Arkansas; Brother: Henry Lee Scott, Rockford, Illinois; Grandchildren: DeMyah Hegwood, Kye Thomas, Quintarius McHenry, Xavier McHenry, Ashanti Levingston, Jamarcus Smith, Melvin Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
