Ruby Lee Cole, the “LIVE Y”, (Wire) was born May 17, 1939, in Fountain Hill, AR to the late Lottie and Nathan Daniels. She departed this life on April 12, 2018 at her home in Fountain Hill, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Lee Cole and her daughter, Linda Faye Cole Franklin.
She began her adult life working in Kansas City, Kansas at Certainteed, a fiberglass company. She later became a licensed beautician and worked part-time doing hair. She also worked for the Holiday Inn as a housekeeper in Kansas City, KS and she worked as a custodian at the Kansas City Elementary School in Kansas City, Missouri. She later became self-employed and retired from her home cleaning services.
She obeyed the gospel of Christ and became a member of the Church of Christ. She loved playing the piano while singing gospel songs. She also enjoyed cooking and playing cards and board games with her family and friends. Of course, she always wanted to be the best.
She is survived by four children: Patricia Watson (Anthony), Thelma (Joyce) Barnett and Dennis Cole, of Fountain Hill, AR and Wendy Cole of Kansas City, Kansas; One brother: Joe Nathan Daniels (Ramona) of California, two sisters: Nazaree Wilson of Fountain Hill, AR and Mary Harris of Chattanooga, TN; She is survived by eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral service will be held at the Westside Church of Christ in Fountain Hill, AR, Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 from 11 to 7 at the chapel of Mitchell Memorial.
Burial will follow in the Norris Hill Cemetery in Fountain Hill, AR under direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
