June Darleen Davis was born on June 17, 1955 in Crossett, Arkansas to the late Bertha Marie Bunton and Earl Junior Davis.
Ms. Davis graduated from Crossett High School. She graduated from Paul Quinn College in Waco, TX with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science and Education. She went to Shorter Jr. College in North Little Rock with Associate Degree in Art. She was employed at Georgia Pacific for 8 years. She had a In Home Child Care Center for 10 years until she became ill.
She had a love for children and people. She helped raise many children that was not her own. She took anyone into her home and cared for them. She had a love for cooking, reading and gospel music. Ms. Davis was preceded in death by her mother and father.
She leaves to cherish her memories her legacy: her four children Willie Clark and Maisha Clark of Monroe, LA, Taisha Clark of Dallas, TX and Antonio Bryant (Veronica) of Monroe, LA; Three grandchildren: Jatarianna Clark , Ava Parker and Camilla Bryant of Monroe, LA; One sister Terry Scales of Crossett, AR; One aunt Sarah Fitch (Johnny) Aurora, IL; One nephew Jessie Scales II (Roberta) of Valdosta, GA; three great nephews, two great nieces along with many cousins, family and friends. Ms. Davis gave her life to the Lord and committed to serving him faithfully until her death.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the chapel of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service at 11:00 P.M.
Visitation will be held at Friday, March 30, 2018 from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the chapel.
Burial will follow in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
