Johnny Spencer Morris

Bro Johnny Morris was born on May 15, 1958 near Bonita, La. He was the eighth child of the late Melvin Sr. and Bessie Morris. 
He joined the Saint Marks Church at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. McCoy. 

He was preceded in death by parents Melvin Sr. and Bessie Morris, grandparents: Rev. Jack King and Prince Ella King, Eight brothers: Charles, Jimmy, Theodis, Donald Ray, Willie Lee, Ronald, Tracey Riley and Mack Louis Morris. Three sisters: Patsy Riley, Helen Riley, and Maxine Riley.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His Fiancé: Kristi Jordan; seven children: four daughters: Adrianna and Gloria Morris both of Dallas, Tx, Quisha and Coneisha both of Pine Bluff, AR. Three sons: Gabriel Morris of Dallas, TX, Aaron Brown Morris of Galion, LA and Kaseem Morris of New Jersey. Six brothers: Leon Morris and Melvin Morris of New Jersey,, Tommy (Sue) Riley of Wilmot, AR, Willie James (Barbara) Riley of Wilmot, AR, Michael (Linda) Riley of California, Carl (Katherine) Riley of Wilmot, AR; Eight sisters: Deloris Morris of Minnesota, Bernice Reese and Carolyn Perry of Atlanta, GA, Hilda Diane Morris and Dalphine Jeanette Jones of Bastrop, LA, Carrie Watson of Monroe, LA,  Rita (Larry) Busten of Wilmot, AR and Jacqueline (St­­­­eve) of Dallas, Tx; Special niece: Tiana Echols; Godson: Dennis Hill a host of nieces and nephews. 

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the St Mark's Missionary Baptist Church in Bonita, LA.

Visitation will be held Friday May 4, 2018 from 6 until 7 at the St Mark's Missionary Baptist Church in Bonita, LA.

Burial will follow in the St. Mark's Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial  Funeral Service of Crossett, AR
