Bro Johnnie Lee Henry was born in Oakland, Louisiana on May 13, 1945, to the late Foncie and Gracie Miller Henry.

He confessed Christ at an early age, and was baptized at the Springhill Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Ramsey.
Later in life he moved to Strong, Arkansas to the Christopher Place. He loved working with heavy equipment and spending time with his family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by two sisters: Marjorie Mae Henry-Washington and Dorothy Henry. One brother: Clarence Henry

Johnny or Hooker as everyone called him: Leaves to cherish his memories. His loving daughter: Patricia Henry of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; One son: Nickey Henry(Syble) of Eldorado, Arkansas; Three brothers: Carvin Henry of Eldorado, Arkansas, Jessie Lee Henry of Oakland, California and R.O. Henry of Strong, Arkansas. A very dear cousin Ruth Henry and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Springhill Baptist Church in Marion, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held from 4 until 5 at the Curry Chapel AME Church in Strong, AR.

Burial will follow in the Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
