JoAnn Fleming Reeves

Joann Fleming Reeves was born July 3, 1956 in Crossett “Cooter” Arkansas to Hubert Lewis Fleming and Clara Bell Copeland-Fleming. She gained her wings to meet her heavenly father February 18, 2018. She attended Crossett Public Schools and graduated from Crossett high school in 1974. She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother. She was a caregiver because she loved caring for others.

She loved to fish and would fish rain or shine.

She was preceded in death by her mom and dad. Hubert Lewis Fleming and Clara Bell Copeland-Fleming; Two brothers: Harvey Fleming and Hubert Ray Fleming; and one nephew: Brian Fleming.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter: Stacy Mercer (Husband Ricky) of Crossett, Arkansas. Two sons: Shane Reeves (Wife Christy) of Crossett, Arkansas and Zach Reeves (Wife Justine) of Cabot, Arkansas. A special daughter: Stephanie Lewis, of Crossett, Arkansas. One brother: James Fleming (Wife Pam) of Crossett, Arkansas. One sister: Betty Taylor (Husband Charlie) of Greenwood, Mississippi. Seven grandkids: Andrew Pickering, George Lewis, Chey Ann (Poodly) Mercer, Jacob Womack, Benjamin Henslee, Kaitlynn Bufkin and Emery Reeves. A special niece: Heather Mariabanian, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

Bishop Lloyd, Officiating. Active Pallbearers are Rusty Harris, Dub Harris, Scott Smith, James O’Bannan, Jeff Mariabanian, Marvin Henslee and Matt Bryan. Honorary Pallbearers are Glenn Jenkins and James Fleming

Funeral will be held at 12:00 P.M Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Jarvis Chapel Baptist Church in Crossett, AR.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10 until 11 at the church.

Burial will follow in the Unity Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
