Isadore Payne Obituary

On November 26, 1945, a son was born to Harris and Ceola Payne, in Huttig, AR.

He confessed Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. S.D. Dorsey.

He attended school at Gardner High in Strong, AR. He served in the United States Marine Corp for two years. He was active in Boy Scouts. Isadore love to fish. He had a passion to entertain his family and friends with tall tales.

 He parted this life on December 23, 2018 at the family home. He was preceded in death by his father: Harris Jackson Payne Sr., mother Ceola Lucille Johnson Payne and a sister: Creola Marilyn Payne.

His memories will be cherished by a son: Isadore Thomas Payne (Christina) of Oakland, CA; two brothers: Harris Payne Jr. (Kiel) of Opelousa, LA and LaHoris Ray Payne of Huttig, AR; nine sisters: Lovie Payne Andrews of Marion LA, Dottie Payne Benton and Virginia Payne McDaniels all of El Dorado, AR, Leatrice Payne Clayton (Edward), of  Shady Shores, TX, Ida Payne Craig (John), Joyce Payne Mitchell (George),  Lillie Payne Govan, Ladoris Payne and  Barbara Payne all of Huttig AR, two grandchildren: Savannah Payne and Ivonna Payne of Oakland, CA a host of nieces nephews extended family members.
A Special thanks to Damion Payne and James Davis.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Huttig, AR.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until service time at the church.

Burial will follow in the Huttig Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR
