Eugene "Geno" Edwards

Eugene “Geno” Edwards was born October the 21, 1963 to the late Vernesteen Edwards and the late Roosevelt Bridges in Crossett Arkansas. Eugene left his Earthly home for his Heavenly home on April 3, 2018.

Eugene “Geno” met the love of his life Reza Denise Edwards in 1983 in 1988 he married her and they became one. Eugene "Geno" attended Crossett High School. He loved butchering in the Community Markets. He was a butcher over 20 years. He had been an employee of Cash Saver over the past 5 years as well as a butcher for both Save-A-Lot and Jades of Crossett Arkansas. He was a loving family man and had great pleasure from the simple things of life such as grilling in the yard for his family as he watch his grandchildren grow. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vernesteen Edwards, father Roosevelt Bridges, brothers Levell Edwards and Marcus Edward, sister Joyce Edwards and his son Demontrius Webb all of Crossett Arkansas.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 30 years Reza Edwards; Four children: Rodney( Tiffany) Bouie, Carlis (Ashley) Williams, Trenica Williams and Brandy Bouie; Four Brothers: Cordell (Nett) Edwards, Wayne Edwards, Sherwood Edwards and Earli (Barbara) Edwards;  Five Sisters: Rose Marie Black, Faye Rochelle,  Barbara Kay Edwards, Lizzy Jean Edwards, Annie Collins, his mother-in-law Frances Brown one sister in law Delphine Daniels and a host of loved ones.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11:00 A.M at the New Bethel Baptist Church in Crossett, AR.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 from 11 until 7 at the chapel of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service.

Burial will follow in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
