Carl Ray Smith

Carl Ray Smith was born on March 13, 1959 in Crossett, AR. He passed away on Feb 26, 2019 at the Somerset Rehabilitation Center in Crossett, AR. Carl was a 1978 Crossett graduate.

He was an electrician and lived in Fort Worth, TX for over the past 30 years. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Smith and one sister, LaJetta Johnson.

He is survived by, One son: Oranda J. Smith; One daughter: Denisha Smith of Little Rock, AR; One sister: Jacqueline Smith of Crossett, AR; Six brothers: Ronnie Smith (JoAnn) of Crossett, AR, Alvin Smith (Jackie) of Bemidji, MN, Vaughn Smith (Carla) of Fort Worth, TX, Jimmy Thorton (Shalanna) of Crossett, AR, Christopher Smith (Vivian) of Camden, AR and James Johnson; Four grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Crossett, AR.

Visitation will be held on Friday, from 11 until 5 at the chapel. 

Burial will follow in the Phillip Grove Cemetery in Hamburg, AR under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
