Miss Alice Lee Hooker was born March 12, 1958 in Winnsboro, La to the late Mr. Roosevelt Hooker, Sr. and the late Mrs. Martha Shaw Hooker.
Alice made her transition into Paradise on June 19, 2018 at 12:13pm at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana. She confessed to Christ at an early age at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Gilbert, Louisiana under the leadership of Dr. John Allen III.
Alice was a 1976 graduate of Ward III High School. Upon graduating from high school, she continued her education at the former Northeast Louisiana University, now University of Louisiana at Monroe. Where she received her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Fashion Merchandise. Alice’s professional career was mostly spent in Healthcare and Education. Alice’s hobbies were sewing and reading.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jessie L. Hooker, Sr. and niece Marissa Elise Ray.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Avery Hooker(Daniela)of Euless, TX; Four brothers: Roosevelt Hooker, Jr.(Marshea) of Fort Worth, Tx, Eddie Hooker(Rosie) of Monroe, La, Donald Hooker(Jennifer) and Ronald Hooker, of The Colony, Tx; Seven sisters: Betty Shaw of Dallas, Tx, Ruby Hooker, Mary Boley (Nathan), Teresa Hooker, Bessie Lain(Donald), all of Monroe, La, Janice Ray(Derrick),of Cedar Hill, Tx and Sarah Treadway(Darnell),of Garland, Tx, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 30, 2018 at 12:30 PM at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Monroe, LA.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 Friday June 29, 2018 at the church.
