Mary Lou  Hendrix was born September 26, 1939 in Crossett, AR to the late Rev Dallas and Elizabeth Carney Hampton;

On January 20, 1957 She was united in matrimony to Jordan Hendrix and to this union ten children was born.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons: Willie(Hatfield) Hendrix and Ronald Hendrix, one grandaughter: Constance Blakely; two sisters: Ella Maxine Woods and DorothyJean Wright; six brother Junior, Clennon Burner, Raymond Hampton, Lavell Hampton, Walter Hampton, and Troy Hampton

She leaves to cherish her memories, five daughters: Joyce Hendrix, Sharon Hendrix(Albert) Tucker, Regina Montgomery all of Crossett, AR, Wanda Winters of Greenville, MS and Leslie-Lisa(Charles) Jones of Vallejo, CA; three sons: Danny Hendrix of Pacoima, CA, Gregory Hendrix of Vallejo, CA and Steve(Donna) of Fairfield, CA; Two grandchildren she raised: Camesa(Derrick)Hays and Tiffany(Rodney) Bouie both of Crossett, AR. four sisters: Brulah Mae Daniels of Crossett, AR Leola(Thomas) Davis of Vallejo, CA, Corene Hampton of Sacramento, CA and Lois Hampton of Vallejo, CA; four brothers: Billiy Hampton, Johnny Hampton, Charles Hampton and Roy Hampton all of Crossett, AR.  a special granddaughter: Doris Jean Jackson of Fort Worth, TX 23 grandchildren and 26 great- grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Living Word COGIC at 1:00 pm 
Visitation will be Friday October 6, 2017 from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm at the chapel.

Burial will follow in the Carlock Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR
