Lillie Faye Smith-Pylant was born on July 29, 1950 to the late Eddie C Smith and FloriceFikes-Smith in Strong, AR. She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age. Faye enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her family especially her siblings.

She was a mother of one son Neil Pylant who preceded her in death. She was a wonderful mother. Faye attended Gardner School in Strong, AR 

On November 4, 2017 Faye transitioned from her Earthly life to her Heavenly life in Strong, AR. She was preceded in death by her son: Neil Pylant; Her parents: Eddie and Florice Smith; Her grandparents Mannie and Edna Honeycutt-Fikes and Ruben and Lillie Smith; Two brothers: Rickey Smith and Charles R. Smith; Two sisters: Nean Smith and Shae Smith.
She Leaves To cherish Her Memories: One daughter: Shayla Leichmon of Strong, AR; Seven sisters Gail Rochelle of Pine Bluff, AR, Linda (Robert) Andrews of Marion, LA and Tammy (Junior) Wilson, Gwendolyn Smith, Virgie Williams, Connie Nelson, and Marilyn Woodard all of Strong, AR. Three brothers: Eddie (Von) Smith of Detroit, MI, Kenneth (Angie) Smith of El Dorado, AR, and Sherrod Smith of MN; One grandson and Four grandchildren; One aunt: Shirley Fikes-Gatson; a special friend Charles Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Strong, AR.

Visitation will be held at the chapel from 12 until 7

Burial will follow in the Gill Cemetery in Strong, AR under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
