Mr. Leroy "Sugarbear" Chapple was born February 17, 1950 to the late Allen and Margerite. On Friday, January 27, 2017 God picked up his little lamb and said "Let's go home". He was preceded in death by his parents, Four sisters: Geraldine, Daisy, Ethel Chapel, and Rosie Moore. He gave his life to Christ in his middle age. He love the Lord and was always singing,     “Walk with me Lord” at the Full Gospel Church of God of Christ where  he went for many years before going to Fountain Hill Church. He loved to play with his sisters and brothers and nieces and nephews. He worked in the pulp wood for many years. He was a lifelong resident of Hamburg, AR and he loved to go church.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Four sisters: Fannie (Woody) Collins of Hamburg, AR, Christine (Jessie) Courtney of Hamburg, AR, Annie (Travis) Hughes of Pine Bluff, AR, and Mary Dine (Wardell) Reed of Hamburg, AR. Two brothers: George Chapple of Hamburg, AR and Jessie Chapple of Hamburg, AR. Leroy had a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and other loved ones and friends.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Mt. Zion M.B.C. in Hamburg, AR. Visitation will be held from 11 to 7  Friday, February 3, 2017 at the chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Grove Cemetery in Parkdale, AR under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
