Mrs. Jo Ann Williams was born on January 18, 1951 in Monroe, LA to O.G. Williams and the late Martha Lee Williams. She attended school at East Side in Farmerville, LA. She was employed at Deri Diner and Marion Nursing home in Marion, LA and Strong Huttig School District in Strong, Strong, AR for ten years.

On July 28, 1969 Jo Ann united in Holy Matrimony to Monroe Williams, JR. To this union five children was born: Marcylon, Stevon, Tonya, Carnilla and Temetricia and one stepson Johnny Williams.
 
She enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, and loving her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a way of making you smile and forget your troubles.

Jo Ann departed this life on July 1, 2017 at her home in Huttig, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband: Monroe Williams, Jr. daughter: Tonya Williams, granddaughter: Breanna Williams, her mother: Martha Lee Canfield and brother Roy Williams.

She Leaves To Cherish Her Memories
Three daughters: Marcylon Honeycutt and Temetricia Williams of Huttig, AR, Carnilla Williams of El Dorado, AR; Two sons: Stevon (Mary) Williams of Huttig, AR and Johnny Williams of Farmerville, LA. Her father: O.G.Williams of Marion, LA; Three brothers: Chester (Patricia) Williams of Marion, LA, Jerry Williams and Jimmy Williams of Farmerville, LA; Five sisters: Dorothy Hankton of El Dorado, AR Brenda Williams and Betty Williams of Farmerville, LA and Patricia Williams and Mary Williams of Marion, LA. A special friend: Anthony Gordon. She also leaves seventeen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 A.M, Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the St. Andrews A.M.E. Church in Huttig, AR.

Visitation will be held Saturday at the church from 9:00 am until service time.

Burial will follow in the Huttig Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
