Ms. Janet Smith was born to Ms. Ella May Gibbs and Mr. Clyde L. Macklemore on April 20, 1958 at the Warner Brown Hospital in El Dorado, AR. She departed this life on December 1, 2017. 
       Ms. Smith was preceded in death by her parents: Ms. Ella May Gibbs and Mr. Clyde L. Macklemore, her brothers: Emit J. Avery, Snowdey Avery and Jimmy Harper.
She served as a nurse aide until her health failed and ultimately the Lord called her home. She will be truly missed by all that knew her.
        She leaves to cherish her memories: Three brothers: Willie Ellis (Loubertha), Clyde Lorenzo Macklemore, Jr., Frankie Harper (Debra); One sister: Sharon Ann Bosom (Kurt), and a host of nieces, nephews, aunt uncle and cousins. She leaves two special friends Connie and Kevin Smith, one special friend whom preceded her in death, Inez Williams and a special friend Wiiliam White.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 9, 2017 at tthe Ebenezer Baptist Church in Strong, AR.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at the church. No visitation will be held on Friday at Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service.

Burial will follow in the Huttig Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service in Crossett, AR.
