    Herbert Glasco Allison, Jr was born on July 10,1936 to Roberta Couser and Herbert Glasco Allison, Sr. in Hermitage, AR 
    He was a retiree of Georgia Pacific after years of dedication. Throughout his life he loved his wife and children, but held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren, great- grandchildren.
    He will be remembered to most as the funny fella because he loved telling jokes and stories of old. Yes, he had a great sense of humor. He loved going to church, he loved farming and he loved horses with a passion. He was a member of Hunters Chapel MBC. Whenever you saw him just know he had his bible and his pistol.
    He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years Lizzie Mae Golden Herman Allison and his parents Roberta Couser and Herbert G. Allison, SR.
    He is survived by two sons: Wardell Herman of Bastrop, LA and Maurice (Niecy) Herman of Monticello, AR; four daughters: Diane (Larry) Hawkins of Bastrop, LA, Olivia (Jessie) Kimble of Crossett, AR, Olivia Allison of Bastrop, LA and Gabrielle Allison of Dallas, TX. He also leaves thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great- grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, September 25, 2017 at Hunters Chapel MBC in Crossett, AR 

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the chapel.

Burial will follow in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
